TEACH AT HOME PROGRAM
Here We Grow Method programs are designed to support parents who want to teach their toddlers at home, create memories, and help them reach milestones. We prepare them for PREK with developmentally and age-appropriate activities.
BLOOM Program is for preschoolers 3 & 4 years old
If you want to create sensory, art, and nature activities, this program is for you, but you want to avoid being consumed by printing, building, and setting up activities.
We use a combination of Alexa's methodology and an award-winning curriculum.
PLAY WITH INTENTION
We focus on providing opportunities for children to explore and learn about the world around them within their interests.
Not whatever theme is assigned for that week.
We use a art, sensory, and nature-based approach to motivate and create curiosity when learning and grasping new concepts.
Through these experiences, they can develop problem-solving skills, critical skills, and creativity as they explore and play.
SKILL BED FOCUSED
We base our curriculum teachings, our activities, and lesson plans on brain-research and play research. We use how kids learn, and we apply it in our program.
We allow freedom of expression, freedom to explore materials as the child guides their learning while working on their problem-solving skills.
THEME OF THE WEEK?
We don't do themes or letter of the week or even worksheets! Those are outdated practices and have proven not to be developmentally appropriate for children.
This outdated approach is common but not the best way to teach. We want to focus on what IS DEVELOPMENTALLY APPROPRIATE!
We focus on the skill being learned and we teach you through our masterclasses the different ways to approach it. We give you samples how to customize it to your child's developmental level, and interest.
We provide a book bases lesson plan along with different activities to explore preschool skills to explore throughout the month.
This way, month after month, we build the skills needed and allow the children to become little scientists as they make their discoveries.
SKILLS WE WORK ON
FINE MOTOR DEVELOPMENT
This is everything that is eye-hand coordination, pre-writing skills, and small hand and finger movements
Getting your little one ready to write is essential at this age. Hand movement, hand control, scissor skills, and hand muscle strength will be worked on using fun sensory and art activities.
LANGUAGE DEVELOPMENT
This is everything to gain vocabulary, learn letters, literacy skills and create a love for the print language.
We learn letters in a way that makes sense for them, that they can relate and uses their whole body to capture information.
COGNITIVE DEVELOPMENT
This area works on everything that has to do with critical thinking, cause, and effect such as sorting, counting, science skills and problem-solving.
We learn to take care of the world around us, our community and science concepts with hand-on skills to grasp concepts in meaningful ways.
We use proven research-based approaches to learning.
It is not about the theme but the concepts we are mastering.
