IS THIS REALLY FOR ONE-YEAR-OLDS?

I purchased many curriculum and programs online that claimed to teach subjects to toddlers only to work through the lessons and realize the subjects and level of activities were too advanced for a one-year-old.

With a lot of money wasted and frustration, I took it upon myself to ask, research, and test the concepts that one-year-olds can grasp, learn, and master.

I asked pre-school directors, teachers, speech pathologist,s and other parents what would be the ideal subjects to teach my son and get him ready for those pre-k subjects he will need when entering pre-k.

I tested every idea and the result was THIS book. Tested and approved by many other parents.

Learning colors can be a lot of fun.

Starting with primary colors and using matching games your toddler will start identifying these colors in no time!
Your toddler might not be able to speak their proper name yet but he/she will sure be able to identify and point.

PRINTABLES FOR ONE-YEAR-OLDS

To help develop language and literacy skills the workbook works the
following areas:

Language Development

This is everything to gain vocabulary, learn to talk, and everything related to speech development

One-year-olds should be saying about 20 words by the end of their first birthday but before your toddler can speak he/she needs to learn and master sounds.

We will be working a lot with songs, rhymes, and animal songs to learn and master these.

There is a lot of vocabulary that needs to be learned and we will use fun games to learn body parts, common item names, fruits, and more…

Cognitive Development

This area work on everything that has to do with critical thinking, cause, and effect such as sorting, counting, and problem-solving

The workbook has matching activities, memory skills, counting, and matching to work on these skills in a fun way.

Pre Writing Skills

Work on fine and gross motor skill through sensory play

Getting your little one ready to write is an important task at this age. Hand movement, grasping, eye-hand coordination, and hand muscle strength will be worked on using the activities on this workbook.

Keep it simple – Keep it fun.

This binder is a great first step if you want to start teaching the concepts needed to get ready to start pre-K.

It is an easy way to teach these concepts at home without messy set ups, expensive materials and boring worksheets.

It has the very basics, such as learning how to count, learning colors, activities to learn how to speak, increase vocabulary and more…

Unlike all other toddler learning folders that put it all together and are too advance (usually aimed for 3-5-year-old toddlers and are too advance )

Before you know it, your toddler will be handing you the folder and asking to play (just like mine does).

Easy To Use

The binder is easy to use, we just use it in the high chair every morning

It Really is just 10-15min

I love the matching activities, and I love that I can use them in my native language so my son is learning 2 languages at once

FAQ 1 Year Old Learning Binder

What is the difference between the workbook and the curriculum?

The workbook is set up like a busy book, open and play. There is no setup, no materials needed just open, choose a page, and practice. Great for busy moms, or to use while waiting at a restaurant or simply at home when you don’t feel like setting up activity but still want to use the time to learn.

The curriculum is a weekly lesson plan to do at home. They include songs, sensory play, crafts, and other hands-on sensory activities to enhance learning. It works ok skills like learning to use scissors, refine fine motor skills among other hands-on learning sensory bin ideas, printable, etc.. it has an assessment tracker, and is more like a homeschool plan.

How many Activities are in the book?

There are about 24 different interactive activities in the book, some have multiple pieces like rhyme songs and finger play.
